*Sadly, after welcoming almost 400 guests in 2024, we did not reach the minimum number of bookings this year for the event to be financially viable. However, please save the date as we are working to bring you an alternate event and will share updates soon!

A spectacular annual celebration of Scottish heritage and culture, the premier event of Melbourne Tartan Festival.

After being greeted on arrival and piped into the Town hall, enjoy welcome drinks in the foyer followed by a 3-course gourmet menu, drinks, a traditional Haggis ceremony, International and local guest artists performing in concert style entertainment in the grand Main Hall. Be welcomed by Melbourne Lord Mayor and Dance the night out to the music of internationally acclaimed Celtic rock band Claymore.

This will be a night to remember!

MELBOURNE TARTAN DAY PARADE ON COLLINS STREET

SUNDAY 6 JULY 2025 at 2.00PM

Over 200+ pipers, drummers and Highland Dancers will parade down Collins Street starting in front of the Old Treasury Building before turning into Regent Place, where a short recital will be held before the parade closes.

Support our wonderful pipe band community and don’t forget to wear some tartan to celebrate Tartan Day in Melbourne!

We’re excited to announce the Melbourne Tartan Day Parade has been accepted as a cultural music event by the Australian Cultural Fund (ACF).
